OOF

I present to you the egg cube, OOF. I grew up using an egg cup designed and made by my Dad that held two eggs. And this got me thinking, could there also be an egg cup capable of holding larger or smaller eggs?

Every egg is different, after all. There used to be 7 official hen egg sizes on this small island alone. And this doesn’t even include quail or duck.

Named after the Ed Ruscha painting, OOF. I always thought it was an American take on the French, Les Oeuf. It sounds nice in the mouth, saying OOF. And this egg cube feels nice to stack. It is smooth and colourful on the inside, and matt on the outside, capable of stacking safely.

Go on, enjoy breakfast again. Take time, and don’t hide your OOF in the cupboard, stack in plain sight. How many can you stack together?
